The Student Ideas Challenge is FREE to participate in and calls on young people from 8-18 years old, as the next generation of innovators, intrapreneurs and entrepreneurs, to share their incredible, innovative ideas by 3rd October 2018 on how to solve five of the Sustainable Development Goals which are specifically linked to gender equality and women’s empowerment.
This easy-to-use pack, sponsored by impact investor Symbiotics SA, complete with lesson plans, challenge questions and research links, is designed for educators to use with students to engage them in the Challenge. It can also be used for self-directed learning by older students.
The pack has three simple steps:
The posters and videos will be displayed at the Women In Business Awards 2018 event, 25th October 2018 in the General Assembly at the UN, Palais des Nations, Geneva. They will act as a call to action from young people to event attendees and a global audience, inspiring action for gender equality through innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Schools Pack is designed to be adapted to the time you have available, whether 30 mins or 3 lessons. You can use it as a whole school activity or incorporate it into a specific lesson as service learning, or as part of tutor time or an after-school club.
The pack is designed to develop creative thinking skills and growth mindset, as students explore, take risks on ideas and gain an overview of how learning, practice and effort enables people to achieve their goals.
Get in touch via email email@example.com if you would like a pack. Even if you cannot meet the deadline, you can still use the pack to generate awareness of achieving gender equality through entrepreneurship.
