CAPACITY ZURICH
Capacity is a non-profit association based in Zürich and a start-up incubator for persons with refugee and migrant background who would like to launch a business or socio-cultural initiative in Switzerland. They offer entrepreneurship and training programmes in partnership with the Canton of Zurich, UBS Switzerland AG, Generali’s The Human Safety Net, eBay’s Global Foundation, the Impact HUB Zurich, Dow Switzerland, and Wicki Partners – Attorneys at Law.
WORKING TOGETHER
As part of Capacity’s entrepreneurship learning programme, the team wanted to connect their programme participants to their resilience, to enable them to navigate the challenges that come with each stage of entrepreneurial journeys, to enable them to succeed and create sustainable businesses.
They asked Elaine to run an interactive, learning-by-doing session which would provide some key resilience tools.

THE APPROACH
Working in partnership with the Capacity Zurich team, we selected resilience tools that aligned with the entrepreneurship learning journey that participants would be experiencing in the programme.
This enabled a learning-by-doing approach, allowing participants to recognise challenges, apply the tools and start to embed them.
