The EPFL Innovation Park provides a dynamic location for high tech companies to innovate. The Park is located at the heart of EPFL, Europe's most cosmopolitan science and engineering university.

It hosts hosts technology driven companies in an inspiring environment, with access to cutting-edge research, a large network of dynamic entrepreneurs and established companies. 

WORKING TOGETHER

The EPFL Innovation Park runs a series of workshops for entrepreneurs at the Innovation Park and EPFL students exploring entrepreneurship.

Elaine was commissioned to run a resilience workshop to provide a resilience toolkit for entrepreneurs to use everyday, enabling them to remain agile, dynamic and able to overcome challenges on their entrepreneurship journeys. 

THE APPROACH 

Going fast and far on this journey to create successful brands and businesses requires resilience. That means moving from a strong core of flourishing to cultivate the conditions for problem-solving creativity and innovation thinking.

The workshop enabled entrepreneurs to explore the why, how and what of resilience to bring new perspectives for problem-solving and the tools to navigate personal, professional and organisational challenges including:
 
  • How to flourish and avoid burn-out
  • Mapping a new path to achieve professional goals
  • Linking resilience tools to developing lean, effective business processes
  • Leaving with a resilience practice for unlocking creativity and innovation

POWERFUL RESULTS 
  • The group of 15 participants, both established and start-up entrepreneurs, explored best practice resilience tools to use every day. 
  • Each entrepreneur left with their personalised resilience toolkit for navigating challenges - personal, profession and organisational.
