EMPOWERING WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS
Closing the gender digital divide is essential for women's economic empowerment, starting in schools and through ongoing learning programmes for women of all ages.
EQUALS-EU commissioned multiple Innovation Camps on different themes around Europe, to identify women start-ups who would then be brought together into an Accelerator Programme.

WORKING TOGETHER
Elaine was commissioned by Carolina Earle, Research Assistant at IHEID and EQUALS-EU, to support with the design, and to facilitate, the Innovation Camp. The 3-day event invited participants to explore themes of closing the gender digital divide in/through international law and policy.
THE APPROACH
The Innovation Camp took place at the UN Palais des Nations and Impact Hub Geneva. Elaine facilitated the event, which enabled participants to generate ideas for a chosen problem and to pitch their preferred idea together at a final Pitching Event.
