As women, we are already experiencing greater vulnerability to the impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss in our daily lives. Gaps in access and equity are widening. The green jobs gender gap grows every day.
With so much change happening, we can feel stuck, exhausted, overwhelmed, anxious, even outdated and obsolete.
We can feel uncertain about where we fit in: even question whether to continue. It often doesn’t feel safe to be visible and vocal.

Using foresight as a green skill, we want to create and tell stories of flourishing futures that are so powerful and so wide-spread that we accelerate transformation change for doing things differently and create flourishing futures. Every time we explore using futures thinking and foresight, we are building our entrepreneurial and innovation competencies, so that we are the green talent leading the way in regenerative solutions for our economic empowerment and that of our communities. |

The Flourishing Futures Collective was created because research shows that women are more vulnerable to the effects of climate change, receive less funding for start-ups, have poorer access to education generally, as well as vocational education for green jobs. In short, we are on a trajectory to more inequality and challenges in creating livelihoods.
We aim to change that! Starting today!
