October 2031: Forecasting the Future Together when The Coimbra Group met the UN

We have 9 years to bend the curve to reach the Very Low Greenhouse Gas emissions scenario set out by the IPCC, and in doing so achieve the UN SDGs. We need to colloborate to get there. What do we need from each other to do that?

These were the conditions given to the participants in the Working Group session, as part of The Coimbra Group Meets the UN event, which took place in the UN Library & Archives on 22nd October 2021.

Bringing together Rectors, Vice-Rectors, Heads of UN Agencies, Impact Investors and members of the International Development Eco-System this futures-thinking session created the space for engagement around the gaps, obstacles and opportunities around research and education.
